Reading Worker Embezzled Thousands From Lancaster Co. Employer, Police Say A Reading man faces multiple felony charges after authorities say he embezzled $16,000 from his employer.  Timothy Beegle, 29, is accused of stealing from a business on the 300 block of Stevens Road in East Cocalico Township, according to police.  He was arraigned on charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, and related counts and held on $30,000 bail, court records show.  Beegle is due back in court for his preliminary hearing on Dec. 1.

Coroner Seeks Family Of Man Found Dead In Allentown Backyard The Lehigh County Coroner's Office is looking for the family of an Allentown man who died last Friday, Oct. 20. Dick Michael Cooper, 46, was pronounced dead in a backyard on the 500 block of West Tilghman Street around 9:30 a.m., the Coroner said.  More investigation is needed to determine his cause of death, though officials said there are "no suspicious circumstances" at this time.  Authorities are asking Mr. Cooper's family or anyone who can contact them to call the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and Forensic Center at 610-782-3426 or email danielbuglio@lehighcounty.org.
