Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Recall Issued For Ground Beef Product Due To Possible Contamination A recall has been issued for thousands of pounds of ground beef because it may be contaminated with a foreign object. The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Sunday, Nov. 19 that Skyline Provisions, Inc. is recalling approximately 5,620 pounds of raw ground beef products that were produced and packed on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023. Breaking: Body Found Near Waterfront In Bridgeport An investigation is underway after a body was found off the coast of Connecticut. The discovery was made in Fairfield County around 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. "This is an active investigation and currently no further information is available," Bridgeport Emergency Management said in a statement issued just after 6:30 p.m. Monday. Fatal Crash: 34-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Hudson Valley One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the region. It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 in Orange County on Park Avenue in the city of Port Jervis. Covid-19: More Free At-Home Tests Now Available To US Households The federal program offering free COVID-19 rapid at-home tests through the mail has just been restarted ahead of the winter holiday season and a potential rise in cases. Every American household may order four of the tests starting Monday, Nov. 20 by visiting covid.gov/tests, the Department of Health and Human Services says. Vermont-based Wilcox Ice Cream says that one lot of the Super Premium Mint Chip manufactured on Tuesday, Nov. 14 may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
