Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The time frame for the storm is overnight Friday, March 24 into Saturday morning, March 25, according to the National Weather Service. Eye Drops Tainted With Bacteria Linked To Deaths, Infections, CDC Says The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is warning about eye drops tainted with bacteria that are now being linked to three deaths and dozens of infections. In addition, eight people have reported vision loss and there have been four reports of eyes being removed after the drops were used. A total of 68 people in 16 states have been identified as having infections of a rare strain of drug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa never before reported in the United States before this outbreak, according to the CDC. ID Released For 17-Year-Old Killed In Southern State Parkway Crash In Babylon The identity of a teenager killed in a crash earlier this week on Long Island has been released. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, March 18 on the westbound Southern State Parkway between exits 36 and 37, in Babylon. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2009 Nissan Altima, driven by a 16-year-old, was traveling westbound when the car left the roadway and struck trees and brush on the north shoulder, New York State Police said. Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 12-Year-Old A Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating her. Valeria Chavez, age 12, was last seen in Hempstead at around 3 a.m. Monday, March 20, Nassau County Police said. Her disappearance was reported at 6:45 p.m. Monday. She is described as being 5-foot-5, 155 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Her clothing description and destination are unknown. Scenic Fruit Company said it is recalling frozen organic strawberries sold at Costco and Aldi, and frozen organic tropical blend sold to Trader Joe’s due to an outbreak of Hepatitis A illnesses.
