Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Charged After Setauket Massage Parlor Raid A woman was charged after a raid at a Long Island massage parlor overnight. In response to community and quality of life complaints, the detail was conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at around 6 p.m. at Ru Yi Spa at 175 Route 25A, in Setauket, Suffolk County Police said. Following the investigation, Xiahong Zhao, age 57, was charged with two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession. Route 117 In Chappaqua Reopens After Serious Crash This story has been updated. A stretch of a busy roadway in Northern Westchester has now reopened after a serious crash. The closure on Route 117 in Chappaqua was in both directions by Kathleen Lane near the Mount Kisco border, according to New Castle Police. The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5. 34-Year-Old Woman Killed After Tree Falls On Top Of Car In Harrison A woman was killed after a tree fell on her car on a busy roadway in the region. The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 in Westchester County on I-95, in Harrison, between exits 18B (White Plains) and 19 (Rye/Harrison). Man Killed After Being Struck By Jeep On Roadway In Lake Success Police are investigating after a man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on a Long Island roadway. The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 in Lake Success. Person Struck, Killed By Vehicle Near Intersection In West Hempstead Police are investigating after a fatal midday crash on Long Island. It happened around 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 in West Hempstead. A male pedestrian was crossing the street on Woodfield Road in the vicinity of Lindberg Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound, Nassau County Police said.
