Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect At Large After Burglary At Plainview Gas Station Police are investigating a burglary at a Long Island gas station. It happened between Friday, Sept. 23, and Saturday, Sept. 24, in Plainview, Nassau County Police said. An unknown person entered the Mobil station at 220 Manetto Hill Road and removed an unknown amount of US currency, cigarette cartons and Lottery tickets, said police.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction. Detectives request anyone with information on the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous. Alert Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old Hudson Valley Girl A 14-year-old girl has gone missing and authorities in New York are asking the public's help in locating her. Amayalise Perez was last seen in Orange County leaving a friend's house in Middletown on Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to police in the Town of Wallkill, where she is a resident. She is 5-foot-2 with "honey brown" hair and brown eyes, Wallkill Police said. Anyone with information on her whereabout is asked to contact the Town of Wallkill Police Department at 845-692-6757. 25-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle Roslyn Crash Police are investigating a fatal early-morning crash near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Roslyn. A 25-year-old man was operating his motorcycle on Northern Boulevard when he was involved in the crash with a box truck near the intersection of Beech Drive, Nassau County Police said.  The man was transported to a nearby hospital by a Nassau County Police Ambulance where he was pronounced dead by a staff physician, said police.  His identity has not yet been released.
