Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By SUV Before It Crashed Into Building In Oceanside The identity has been released of a man who was fatally struck by an SUV which then crashed into a building on Long Island. The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in Oceanside. A 67-year-old man operating a 2018 Ford Edge, struck the male pedestrian before crashing into a building at 3618 Oceanside Rd., Nassau County Police said. Power Outage Causes Closure At High School In Hudson Valley A high school in the Hudson Valley is closed on Tuesday, Sept. 13 due to a power outage. In Orange County, Warwick Valley High School is closed for both in-person and remote learning due to the power outage caused by a blown transformer, the Warwick Valley Central School District announced. "The power outage is isolated to Warwick Valley High School," the district said in an announcement on its website. Woman Seriously Injured After Car Overturns In Babylon Crash Police are investigating a crash that left a woman seriously injured on Long Island. It happened around 3 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 in Suffolk County on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 37 in the town of Babylon. Patricia Suarez, age 59, of Whitestone, Queens, was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry eastbound when the vehicle overturned coming to rest on the driver’s side, New York State Police said.
