Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

16-Year-Old Charged After Shooting Outside Bay Shore Home A 16-year-old is in custody after a shooting outside a Long Island home. At around 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, a 41-year-old man from Astoria, Queens was attending a baby shower in Bay Shore at 1651 Pine Acres Blvd. when a fight broke out between two teenage girls on the front lawn, Suffolk County Police said. 27-Year-Old Killed In Fiery, Single-Vehicle Riverhead Crash Police are investigating a fiery, fatal single-vehicle Long Island crash. 1 Killed After Lirr Train Strikes Car On Tracks Between Hicksville, Huntington Service on a stretch of the Long Island Rail Road was suspended for several hours after a train struck a car on the tracks, resulting in one fatality. Teen Charged After Violent Assault At Bellmore Domino's A teenager is in custody after a violent assault at a Domino's Pizza on Long Island overnight. A male victim, age 19, had a verbal disagreement with an unknown male at the shop in Bellmore, located at 2150 Bellmore Ave., at around 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, Nassau County Police said.
