Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect At Large After 22-Year-Old Shot On Long Island Roadway A suspect is at large after a Long Island man was shot on a Long Island roadway. The incident happened Monday, May 10 at around 6:15 p.m. in Mastic Beach. Alejandro Gawey, age 22, of Mastic Beach, was standing in the parking lot in front of 351 Neighborhood Road when another man shot him in the leg, Suffolk County Police said. The suspect fled the scene following the shooting. Gawey was transported by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Long Island Man Nabbed After Attempting To Rob Chase Bank, Police Say A suspect was nabbed shortly after an attempted bank robbery on Long Island, according to police.
