Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Covid-19: New Cases Of UK 'Super Spreader' Strain Reported On Long Island; Latest Breakdown New cases of the so-called COVID-19 so-called "Super Strain" from the United Kingdom are increasing in New York. As of Saturday, Feb. 20, the total number of such statewide cases of the more contagious COVID variant is 136, with 54 new cases (39.7 percent). A total of 77 of those 136 UK strain cases have been reported in New York City, with 46 of them being new cases. 26-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Route 15 Crash A 26-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight on a stretch of Route 15 in Wallingford. It happened around 11:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. That's when state police say a 2019 Toyota Highlander was traveling northbound between Exits 65 and 66 when the driver lost control and the vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a metal beam guardrail adjacent to the left lane. The vehicle then struck the concrete barrier in the median and rolled over onto the roadway, said police. Suspect Nabbed For Stabbing Victim During Dispute At Long Island Motel, Police Say A suspect is in police custody after a victim was stabbed during a dispute at a Long Island motel overnight, according to authorities. The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 in East Meadow. According to detectives, Jose Gonzalez, age 29, of East Meadow, while staying in room 82 with others at the Coliseum Motor Inn, 1650 Hempstead Turnpike, became involved in a verbal dispute with another man, Nassau County Police said. Farina IV, a standout golfer who also worked as a caddy in Northern Westchester, died on Sunday, Feb. 14 at age 17. He was a senior at Somers High School, earned his first varsity letter in golf as an eighth-grader, and competed in Junior Tournaments in the Met PGA and Hurricane Golf Tour events in Florida.
