Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Car Into Cruiser, Police Say A Long Island man has been charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed his motor vehicle into the rear of a marked police car, authorities announced. 26-Year-Old Killed After Mercedes-Benz Crashes Into Tractor-Trailer In Area One person was killed when a Mercedes-Benz crashed into a tractor-trailer overnight in the area. The incident happened on Friday, Jan. 1 at approximately 2:30 a.m. in Rockland County on the southbound side of I-87 in Chestnut Ridge. A preliminary investigation determined that Dante M. Man Rescued After Falling Into Icy Waters At Long Island Marina A man was rescued after falling into icy waters at a Long Island marina. The man was working on a boat when he fell into the Fire Island Pines Marina at approximately 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, Suffolk County Police said. Baby Lilah made her debut on Friday, Jan. 1 at 12:02 a.m, weighing 8 pounds, 8.3 ounces. This is the first baby for Dana and Matthew Wrigley of Stamford. Man Critically Injured After Being Hit By Pickup Truck On Busy Long Island Roadway A man was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck on a busy Long Island roadway overnight. The incident happened on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 6:05 p.m. in Mineola. One Killed In Four-Alarm Westchester Apartment Fire One person was killed after a four-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in Westchester overnight. The blaze in the five-story, brick building, located on Bruce Avenue in Yonkers, began at around 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, and the building was heavily damaged before the fire was brought under control.
