Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

How Much Snow Did You Get? Here's Rundown Of Totals From Throughout Region The massive Nor'easter tracked farther north than expected, but it sure made its presence felt throughout the region. Especially in upstate New York, where the highest snowfall totals were recorded. Litchfield, New York, a town of about 1,500 people located in Herkimer County, about 60 miles east of Syracuse, was walloped with 40 inches of accumulation, with 20 inches falling in a five-hour span overnight. Man Killed After Being Struck By Car On Busy Long Island Roadway A man was killed after being struck by a car on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident happened on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in Melville. Sophia Mukhtarzada,  22, of Farmingdale, was driving a 2010 Honda Civic southbound on Broadhollow Road, south of the Long Island Expressway when the vehicle struck the man in the roadway, Suffolk County Police said.
