Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed In Police-Involved Long Island Shooting Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that killed a man on Long Island. The incident happened on Monday, Oct. 19 at approximately 5:40 p.m. in Coram. Covid-19: New Positive Case Confirmed At School In Westchester A positive COVID-19 case has been confirmed at a school in the Hudson Valley. The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District reported early Monday evening, Oct. 19 that an individual with COVID-19 was at John F. Kennedy Elementary School while infectious. The exposed individuals must quarantine for 14 days from the last exposure date and should be tested for COVID-19 five days after the last exposure. Long Island Man Dies After Falling From Personal Watercraft Police are investigating the death of a Long Island man who was found in the water. Joseph Kelly, 51, of Babylon, launched his personal watercraft from Amityville on Sunday, Oct. 18 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Suffolk County Police said. When Kelly did not return to shore, an acquaintance notified police at approximately 7:50 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19.
