Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

But it's not often a coywolf is spotted.  A coywolf (also known as woyote or Western coyote) is a canid hybrid descended from coyotes and gray wolves and one was seen and photographed Monday morning in Rockland County. Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle In Spring Valley ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Spring Valley late Friday afternoon. At approximately 5:18 p.m., Ramapo Police officers responded to the area of 59 East Eckerson Road where they determined that a 67-year-old man was struck by a 1994 Toyota which was being operated by a 71-year-old male.  The pedestrian suffered a leg injury and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance. The driver of the Toyota remained on scene and cooperated in the investigation. No tickets were issued.
