Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Former Clarkstown North Baseball Standout Vincent Gubello Dies At 43 Vincent Gubello died peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 14 at his home in Congers. He was 43. Vincent was born Nov. 30, 1973 at Nyack Hospital. He graduated Clarkstown North High School, where he was a standout third baseman, and went on to become a graduate of the distinguished Culinary Institute of America at the CIA's main campus in Hyde Park. Born on Aug. 29, 1997 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Harold and Lisa (Vander-Werff) Petershagen. Yorktown Brothers Plead Guilty In $1M Heist Of School-Bound Computers Two brothers from Northern Westchester pleaded guilty Thursday for participating in a scheme to steal, transport and sell 1,200 computers valued at $1 million meant for two high schools in New Jersey, announced Joon H. Not Over Yet: Hurricanes Could Threaten East Coast Through November Conditions will remain favorable for tropical storms and hurricanes to form over the Atlantic for several more weeks, according to AccuWeather.com. There have been 15 tropical storms, 10 hurricanes and five major hurricanes so far in the 2017 Atlantic season, which started in June and lasts through Nov. 30. Trio Charged After Amenia Burglary Investigation A man, woman and teenage boy have been charged following a burglary of a dwelling on Route 343 in the town of Amenia in Dutchess, state police said Wednesday. The trio arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 17 are: 32-year-old Austin M. Lovett, 21-year-old Taylor E. Desario and 17-year-old Dyer A. Burns, age 17, all of Poughkeepsie. They have been charged with burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, police said. Lovett, Desario, and Burns were arraigned before the Town of Amenia Justice Court. Funeral Services Announced For 16-Year-Old Bergen Club Lacrosse Player Funeral services have been announced for the teen boy who played lacrosse for the Bergen County-based New Jersey Riot travel lacrosse program. Crashes On I-87, Palisades Cause Morning Gridlock This story has been updated. Crashes on both the Palisades Interstate Parkway and I-87 in Rockland caused delays during the Wednesday morning commute. The PIP crash occurred southbound at Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road), with traffic backed up to Exit 12 (Route 45) and injuries reported. The crash on I-87 was also southbound and at the juncture to the PIP (Exit 13). Both crashes, reported just before 8 a.m., moved to the shoulders of the roadways.
