Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Westchester Man Among Eight Nabbed In Undercover Drug Dealing Bust A Westchester resident is among eight people accused of distributing heroin and crack cocaine at a senior apartment complex in the Hudson Valley, police announced on Monday. Over the past five months, the Rockland County Drug Task Force said it has been receiving intelligence from the Spring Valley Police Department on a network of career criminals who were allegedly dealing drugs in the complex. Fatal Crash Causes Hours-Long Closure Of Route 22 In Putnam This story has been updated. One person was killed and another injured early Monday morning in a head-on crash that led to the hours-long closure of a stretch of Route 22 in Putnam County. The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. between Route 311 and Thunder Ridge Road. Route 22 reopened at around 10:45 a.m. The identity of the deceased person has not yet been released. Flooding Possible In Westchester As Nate Unleashes Soaking Rain The remnants of Hurricane turned Tropical Storm Nate will unleash a heavy and soaking rain at times across the Hudson Valley on Monday, raising the risk for urban flooding in the region, according to AccuWeather.com. While Nate has weakened, it will still pack plenty of tropical moisture that will fuel heavy rain in the area. Poughkeepsie Man Caught With Crack On NY Thruway, State Police Say A 33-year-old Poughkeepsie man was caught with crack cocaine and marijuana in a stop by troopers near the tolls of the New York State Thruway in Albany, state police announced Saturday. ID Released For Man Killed In Crash On Route 22 In Dutchess The victim of a two-car fatal crash that occurred Saturday afternoon on Route 22 in Dutchess County has been identified. Preliminary investigation has shown that a 1990 Nissan pickup operated by Hyde Park resident Brian S.
