Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Family Displaced, Six Firefighters Injured In Three-Alarm Yonkers Fire A family of six was displaced and six firefighters suffered injuries after a three-alarm fire that broke out in a vacant three-story structure spread to an adjacent home in Yonkers late Thursday afternoon.About 60 members of the Yonkers Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire at 100 Clinton St. at 4:50 p.m., according to Yonkers FD Deputy Chief Joseph DeLasho. Work Starts On Several Roads In North Castle The North Castle Highway Department said it will be starting rehabilitation of several roads in town this week. Work on Meadow Hill Place and Colonial Court was scheduled to start Wednesday, Aug. 30, the highway department said. Starting Friday, Sept. 1 work is due to start on Freedom Road, weather permitting. Tropical Storm Harvey Will Affect Armonk This Weekend After inundating Texas and Louisiana for days, Hurricane turned Tropical Storm Harvey will race across the Ohio Valley and Northeast with rain during part of the Labor Day weekend, according to an update released by AccuWeather.com on Wednesday morning.
