Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Severe Band Of Storms Pushing Through Rockland, Westchester For the second straight day, a line of severe thunderstorms is pushing through Rockland and Westchester. The radar image above, from the National Weather Service, shows the storms pushing through from west to east just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rainfall. William Scumaci Of Ossining, 82, Formerly Of Yonkers William (Bill) Scumaci, a resident of Ossining, formerly of Yonkers, died on June 17. He was 82. Bill was born in the Bronx on February 1, 1935 and was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (DeMicco) Scumaci. Bill was employed by LaSalla Construction in Pelham and was a member of Local 1, NYC. Hudson Valley Could See New Round Of Strong Storms Strong storms swept through the Hudson Valley early Friday evening, with the heaviest hit areas north of Interstate 84. A new round of thunderstorms on Saturday could be more widespread. Three Charged In Dutchess DWI Detail Three motorists are facing charges following a Dedicated DWI Patrol in Dutchess County conducted at the start of the July Fourth holiday on Friday.  Those charged were: Cale W. Cornell, 26, of Amenia was arrested in the Town of Pleasant Valley for DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
