Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

A motor vehicle crash has brought down power lines and causing a transformer fire on Route 202 in Yorktown Heights that has led to power outages Tuesday afternoon. The incident, reported at 2:15 p.m., occurred near Granite Springs Road. Route 202 eastbound traffic is being diverted to Granite Springs Road and Route 202 westbound traffic is being diverted to Elizabeth Road. Metro-North experienced New Haven Line delays of up to 15 minutes at the tail end of the Tuesday morning due to an earlier speed restriction caused by a truck hitting an overpass in Rye. The truck hit the overpass at the intersection of Route 120, Cedar Street and Highland Road, under the Metro-North bridge, causing the slowdown on all four tracks.
