Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

One Killed, Several Injured After Police Cruiser Sideswiped In Peekskill This story has been updated. One person was killed and three others injured after a car lost control coming down a hill in Northern Westchester, slamming into a parked car that that then struck four pedestrians late Saturday afternoon. Crash Causes Delays On Sprain Brook Parkway This story has been updated. A serious motor-vehicle crash that initially took out lanes caused gridlock on a stretch of the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway late Saturday afternoon. The crash, in which a car slammed into a guard rail, occurred at Route 100/Central Avenue with stop-and-go delays to Tuckahoe Road. At least one injury was reported. Police Dish Out 58 Tickets In Westchester 'Buckle Up' Detail The "Buckle Up NY" campaign is off and running as dozens of motorists in the Hudson Valley learned first-hand Saturday morning. A seatbelt checkpoint conducted by state police near the Westchester/Putnam border in conjunction with the effort resulted in 58 tickets being issued, state police said. Nyack Man Forces Victim To Withdraw Money Before Sexual Assault, Police Say ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Nyack man claiming he was armed forced a male victim to withdraw money from the bank weeks before sexually assaulting him, Orangetown Police said. Max Tassy, 27, has been charged with first-degree robbery, burglary, sex abuse, grand larceny and criminal mischief after an investigation by Orangetown Police that ended last week. Man Caught In Haverstraw After Stealing SUV In Orangeburg, Police Say ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 25-year-old Stony Point man was apprehended in Haverstraw after stealing an SUV in Orangeburg, according to Orangetown Police. Christopher Yacoob was charged with grand larceny after a victim reported his 2017 Ford Edge was stolen overnight on Thursday, May 18. After a police investigation, the vehicle was retrieved in Piermont and Yacoob arrested in Haverstraw. Yacoob was processed at Orangetown Police Headquarters, arraigned in Orangetown Justice Court and remanded to the Rockland County Jail on $2,500 bail.
