Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Killed After Lexus Crashes Into Trees In Tuxedo State Police are investigating a one-car fatal motor-vehicle accident that occurred in Tuxedo. Ingrid A. Warren, 79, of Tuxedo Park was traveling southbound on South Gate Road in a Lexus RX350 when her vehicle exited the roadway and struck multiple trees on Saturday, April 22 at approximately 11:22 p.m., state police said. Warren was extricated from the vehicle by Town of Tuxedo Fire Department personnel and airlifted to Westchester Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Crash Leads To Hours-Long Route 9 Closure In Fishkill FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A serious motor-vehicle crash involving a telephone pole resulted in the hours-long closure of a stretch of Route 9 in both directions in Fishkill late Monday afternoon through late in the evening. The closure, reported just before 5 p.m., occurred at the intersection of Old Route 9 when a truck hit the telephone pole and a school bus ran into downed wires. No one injuries were reported.
