Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Female Teen Swings Lacrosse Stick In St. Thomas Aquinas Fight, Police Say ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 19-year-old female has been charged with menacing after swinging a lacrosse stick during a fight with a male student at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill on Saturday, Orangetown Police said. Peekskill Schools Chief 'Saddened' By Post-Game Basketball Brawl Members of the Peekskill City Schools community have expressed both concern and disappointment after a brawl broke out among members of the school's varsity girls basketball team and parents following a playoff game Saturday night. The incident occurred moments after Peekskill lost 74-50 at Tappan Zee High School in the opening round of the Section 1 playoffs. Condo Fire Contained Off Route 6 In Mohegan Lake This story has been updated. MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- Firefighters from multiple municipalities battled a blaze at the Villa on the Lake condominiums off East Main Street (Route 6) in Mohegan Lake. The fire, reportedly in the attic of a two-story condo, broke out around 12:30 p.m. and was contained within an hour. No injuries were reported.

Four Suffer Stab Wounds In Melee Outside Cortlandt Bar Four people were stabbed after an overnight altercation at a bar in Cortlandt spilled onto Route 9A and neighboring park lots early Saturday morning, state police said. Brothers Killed After Mercedes Crashes Into Tree On Bronx River Parkway A 44-year-old Westchester resident and his brother were killed when their 2009 white Mercedes sedan careened off the northbound Bronx River Parkway and slammed into a tree Friday morning, according to multiple reports.
