Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

45-Year-Old Killed After Being Struck By Car At Copiague Intersection Police are investigating a fatal crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 in Copiague. Baudilio Zamora, age 45, of Copiague, was crossing Sunrise Highway southbound at the intersection of Bethpage Road when he was struck by a 2019 Nissan Altima being driven by a 33-year-old Hicksville man, Suffolk County Police said. Islip Terrace Woman Killed After Compact SUV Crashes Down Embankment In Suffolk A woman was killed in a single-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened around 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 in the town of Islip. According to New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Honda HRV, driven by Melissa Lombardo, age 33, of Islip Terrace, was traveling eastbound on the Southern State Parkway when her vehicle exited the roadway onto the right shoulder. South Salem Man Charged After Woman Killed In Hit-Run Crash At Cross River Shopping Center A suspect has been apprehended after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash at a busy shopping center in Northern Westchester. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in the town of Lewisboro at the Orchard Square Shopping Center at the intersection of routes 35 and 121 in the hamlet of Cross River. New Details Released After Westchester Crash That Killed Sergeant, 53, Due To Retire In Months New details have been released after a longtime police officer and Hudson Valley resident was killed in a multi-vehicle Westchester crash. Damaging Wind Gusts From New Storm System Could Cause Power Outages A fast-moving storm that will sweep through the region packed with strong wind gusts could cause power outages. The new system will arrive from west to east just before daybreak on Saturday, Dec. 3 bringing rain, some of which could be heavy at times, and strong winds with gusts on average of about 30 miles per hour, and as strong as 40 to 60 mph in some spots.
