Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fairfield County Man Charged With DUI After Fatal Wrong-Way Crash A Fairfield County man has been charged with operating a vehicle under the influence following a fatal, head-on, wrong-way crash on a stretch of I-95 in New Haven County. CT 18-Year-Old Facing Host Of Charges After Stop Sticks Used By Police During Racing Incident A teenager is facing a host of charges after Connecticut State Police deployed stop sticks during a racing incident overnight. Dog, 6 Cats Killed After House Fire Breaks Out In Hicksville One dog and six cats were killed after a house fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25 in Hicksville on Gardner Avenue. The house was deemed unoccupied and the Hicksville Fire Department along with the Jericho and Westbury Fire Departments responded and extinguished the flames, according to authorities. Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Pole, Trees On Wantagh Parkway In Hempstead A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island overnight. It happened around 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 on the southbound Wantagh State Parkway near Exit 4 in the town of Hempstead. Preliminary investigation revealed, a 2005 Ford Mustang, driven by Gaetano Decrescenzo, age 68, of New Hyde Park, was traveling southbound on the parkway in the right lane, New York State Police said. Home Heavily Damaged After Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley A house was heavily damaged after an overnight fire in the Hudson Valley. The blaze broke out at around 8:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 in Rockland County, at Regina Court in the hamlet of Blauvelt. Woman, Man Become Combative With Troopers After Burglary In CT, Police Say A woman and man are facing charges after a burglary and fight with officers in Connecticut.
