Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Teenage Boy Dies From Injuries In Hit-Run Coram Crash That Also Injured His Sister A 13-year-old Long Island boy has died from injuries three days after a crash that injured his sister. The crash happened in Coram on Wednesday, Oct. 12 around 7:30 p.m. on Granny Road. The two siblings, Tyler Phillips and Krystal Randolph, residents of Coram, were walking westbound in the bike lane on Granny Road, near Middle Island Road, when Philips was struck by an unknown vehicle also traveling westbound, Suffolk County Police said. Man Who Chased, Fatally Shot Victim In White Plains Found Guilty By Jury, DA Says A Westchester man has been found guilty after authorities say he chased down and then murdered a man near a housing complex. Brandon Williams, age 28, was charged for the fatal shooting of Deron Strange, age 34, in White Plains that happened shortly before midnight on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in a parking lot behind the apartment complex on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office said. 50-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle Farmingville Crash Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a Long Island man. It happened around 4:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 in Farmingville. Kevin Buttigieg, age 50, of Farmingville, was operating a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Lakeside Drive when the motorcycle collided with a westbound 2012 Nissan Maxima turning left into a driveway on Lakeside Drive, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Attempting To Cross Hudson Valley Roadway Struck, Killed By Vehicle, Police Say A woman was killed while attempting to cross a roadway in the region, according to authorities. The incident happened around 6:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 in Dutchess County on Route 9 at Clove Road in the Town of Fishkill.
