Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

$2M NY Lottery Ticket Sold At Store In Hudson Valley A New York Lottery ticket worth $2 million was sold at a store in the Hudson Valley. The second-prize Mega Millions ticket was purchased in Orange County at Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh, located at 59 N. Plank Rd., the NY Lottery announced Saturday morning, Sept. 3. There were no first-place winners in the $169,000,000 jackpot. The Mega Millions winning numbers for Friday, Sept. 2 were 39, 40, 52, 60, and 67, and the Mega Ball was 20. The Megaplier was 2X.

Teen Charged After Violent Assault At Bellmore Domino's A teenager is in custody after a violent assault at a Domino's Pizza on Long Island overnight. A male victim, age 19, had a verbal disagreement with an unknown male at the shop in Bellmore, located at 2150 Bellmore Ave., at around 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, Nassau County Police said. The argument quickly escalated and the 15-year-old suspect struck the victim in the back of the head with a knife, according to police. 7 Charged During Sobriety Checkpoint In Patchogue Seven people were charged during an overnight sobriety checkpoint on Long Island. It was conducted in Patchogue at the parking lot at 120 South Sunrise Service Rd. between 11:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, and 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3. 43 Violations Issued During SLA Inspection Of 3 Businesses In Suffolk A total of 43 violations were issued during an overnight New York State Liquor Authority inspection on Long Island. It was conducted from 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 until midnight Friday, Sept. 2 at three businesses in Huntington and Huntington Station.
