Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Person Killed In Hempstead Crash Involving Drunk Driver, Police Say The identity has been released of a man who police say was killed in a crash on Long Island involving a drunk driver. The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday 26 in Hempstead. A 2017 Dodge Durango operated by Oscar Argueta, age 35, of Hicksville, was traveling northbound on Greenwich Street when it struck a 2017 Mercedes-Benz that was traveling eastbound on Martin Street, Nassau County Police said. Freeport Man Drove Drunk With Two Kids In Car In Massapequa Park, Police Say A Long Island man is facing multiple charges after police say he drove drunk with two children in the car on a busy roadway overnight. One Seriously Injured In Crash On Westbury Roadway One person was seriously injured in a crash involving an SUV and a scooter on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened around 1:10 p.m. Sunday, June 26 in Westbury.
