Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Video Shows Alligator Being Captured Near School In Hudson Valley Video footage has been released showing an alligator being captured near a school in the Hudson Valley. Though the video is just now being made available, the incident occurred Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 in Dutchess County outside Van Wyck Junior High School in Wappingers Falls. Three Killed In Connecticut Crash Three people were killed in a morning crash in Connecticut. It happened around 6:30 a.m. in New Haven County in Branford on Thursday, April 28 on Hosley Avenue. Preliminary findings of the investigation indicate that the operator failed to negotiate a curve in the road while traveling at an excessive speed, Branford Police said. Woman Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting In Hudson Valley Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left a woman dead in the Hudson Valley. It happened on Friday, April 29 in Dutchess County the town of Hyde Park at a residence on North Cross Road. The Attorney General’s Office has been notified, according to New York State Police. ID Released For Man Shot, Killed Outside Home On Residential Long Island Roadway Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in broad daylight outside a home in a residential Long Island neighborhood. It happened around 8:50 a.m. Friday, April 29 in Ronkonkoma. That's when Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 385 Wildwood Road. Suspect At Large After Knifepoint Robbery At Long Island 7-Eleven Police are searching for a suspect after a knifepoint robbery at a Long Island 7-Eleven. The man armed with a knife entered the store in West Babylon, located at 901 Little East Neck Road, on Wednesday, April 27 at approximately 11:20 p.m., and demanded the employee open the cash register, Suffolk County Police said.
