Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suffolk Man Charged With DWI After Crash Kills Girlfriend, Police Say A Long Island man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash killed his girlfriend overnight. It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 in Brookhaven. Emmanuel Rivera, age 40, of Bellport, was driving a 2001 Toyota Camry westbound on Montauk Highway, near Old South Country Road, when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree, Suffolk County Police said. ID Released For Man Found Shot Dead At Nassau County Intersection The identity has been released for a man who was found shot dead at a Long Island intersection. Northern Westchester Man Dies After Apparent Hiking Accident, Police Say A Northern Westchester man died after an apparent hiking accident upstate, New York State Police said. Gabriella Calderon was last season at her residence in Glen Cove on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 4:30 p.m., Nassau County Police said.
