Downed Power Lines Cause Outages In Hudson Valley Several Hudson Valley residents experienced temporary power outages as crews worked to repair downed wires on a busy road.  The outages occurred in Putnam County on Tuesday afternoon, March 19 at around 2:45 p.m., when several power lines fell on Old Union Valley Road in the area of Route 6 and Mi-Anna Drive in Mahopac, according to Carmel Police.  The downed lines caused power outages throughout the area as crews worked to complete repairs.  Most of the outages were eventually restored by around 4:20 p.m., with the possibility of a few intermittent remaining outages. Road Closure: Route 119 In Elmsford To Be Affected For Several Nights Officials are warning motorists of an upcoming road closure that will affect a busy main route in Westchester for several nights.  Route 119 in Elmsford between Vreeland Avenue and Undercliff Avenue will close nightly beginning on Wednesday, March 20, and continuing through Friday, March 22, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night and will allow crews to perform construction work.

Seen Them? Man Steals From New Fairfield Stop & Shop, Police Say Authorities in Fairfield County are asking for the public's help in finding a man who stole from a Stop & Shop supermarket.  The theft happened on Monday, March 18 just before 7:30 a.m., when a man stole from the Stop & Shop supermarket in New Fairfield at 25 Route 39, according to Connecticut State Police.
