The Gyro Project, a new fast casual restaurant, is set to open next month at 2151 Lemoine Avenue in Fort Lee. Video Captures $120K Dior Purse Heist At Swanky NJ Mall In a brazen robbery caught on film, four men stole 25 purses from the Mall at Short Hills on Monday, May 15, authorities said. The four men were wearing dark clothing and masks when they entered the store and began pulling handbags off the wall while employees ran to a back room for safety and called for help, police said. Armed Bayonne Carjacker Nabbed 14 Months Later: Hoboken PD A 20-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and charged with a carjacking and shooting that occurred nearly 14 months ago in Hoboken, authorities said. On March 28, 2022, Jaliyl Johnson approached a car in a parking lot on Marshall Drive, pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim's head, police said. The victim ran from the car and Johnson fired a shot at him, but missed, police said. Johnson and a juvenile fled the scene in the victim's stolen vehicle, police said. Body Found On 440 ID'd As Missing Woman The body found on Route 440 on the Jersey City-Bayonne border on Wednesday, May 17, has been identified as Norelis Mendoza, who has been missing last week, authorities announced.
