An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

'Weird Al' Yankovic Kicking Off Ill-Advised Tour In Poughkeepsie "Weird Al" Yankovic is coming to Poughkeepsie and Tarrytown, though not in a show you're expecting. Yankovic, known for his song parodies, is kicking off The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie on Feb. 27 and then is performing at the Tarrytown Music Hall on March 1. Armonk-Based IBM Sees Revenues Decline Again IBM's slide is continuing.The company, which is headquartered in Armonk, saw revenue decline .4 percent, the 22nd consecutive quarter of year over year declines. Profits fell 4.5 percent to $2.73 billion. Despite the numbers, IBM's stock increased 5 percent in after-hours trading. IBM's stock has fallen 12 percent this year. Dutchess County Exec Molinaro Forms Gubernatorial Campaign Committee Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro is one step closer to running for governor in 2018. Molinaro, a Republican, formed a gubernatorial campaign committee that will allow him to raise money for a potential run against Democrat Andrew Cuomo, who is running for a third term.
