Lewisboro Police Department Welcomes New K9 Officer, Zane LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Zane has officially joined the Lewisboro Police Department. Thanks to more than 200 donors, Zane will begin training in the next two weeks with his handler, Andrew Llewellyn. He is currently walking around town, greeting residents, according to the police department's Facebook page. The GoFundMe campaign started by Llewellyn has raised more than $12,000 since May 2016. Man Charged In Yorktown With Second DWI In Four Months YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 54-year-old Cortlandt Manor man was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle Monday. Police received a report of a vehicle crossing the double yellow line at Crompond Road. Ex-Poughkeepsie Deputy School Chief Eyes Lawsuit Against District POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Kathleen Farrell's brief tenure as Deputy Superintendent of the Poughkeepsie City School District could prove costly. Farrell is considering suing the district for $750,000 in lost wages. She filed a notice of claim earlier this month. A five-year $150,000 a year contract was approved by the school board on June 14. Arlington School District Seeks New Trustee After Board President Resigns LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- The board president is out in Arlington. Steven Rossi, the school board president who lives in Pleasant Valley, announced his resignation this month, after undergoing quadruple bypass surgery, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. Goldens Bridge Firefighters Back Home After Nearly Four Years WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was a long awaited homecoming for the Golden's Bridge Fire Department.Firefighters moved back into their firehouse Sunday after being displaced since Feb. 2014 when a fire severely damaged headquarters. Medical Emergency At Gas Station Leads To Mohegan Lake Man's Arrest MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- A 30-year-old Mohegan Lake man was arrested and charged with felony bail jumping after he had a medical emergency at a BP gas station. Cesar Calderon was charged with bail jumping in the second degree, a Class E felony.
