An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

New Italian Restaurant Hopes To Open Soon At Mount Kisco Train Station MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Joe Bueti is hoping he can soon open the Italian restaurant Mount Kisco needs. Bueti is waiting for approval from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to open Locali at the Mount Kisco Train Station. The restaurant will replace Via Vanti. New Tappan Zee Bridge Project 'Far From Over', Day Says Though an opening date has been set for the new Tappan Zee Bridge, Rockland County Executive Ed Day said he is remaining focused on some unanswered questions. The first half of the new bridge replacement will open on Friday, August 25, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo. From All-American To Acting: Former Greeley Star Athlete Makes His Mark An ankle injury his junior year at Horace Greeley High School ended up being very fortuitous to Lowell Byers. Byers, a Chappaqua native, is an actor based in New York City. He recently gained notice for a Choice Hotel commercial now running frequently on TV in which he says the catchphrase, "Badda book.
