Student Brought Gun To Winslow Elementary School: Police A student brought a handgun to Winslow Township Upper Elementary School on Wednesday, May 14, authorities said. At 3 p.m., officers responded to the school after a student was showing classmates a "BB gun," Winslow Township police said. The student was quickly identified and staff took possession of the weapon, which was later identified as a handgun, police said. The handgun was not loaded, police said. 7 Injured In Route 80 Crash: Njsp Seven people were injured in a single-car crash on Route 80 in Warren County on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 14, authorities said. At 4:56 p.m., troopers responded to Interstate 80 West in Allamuchy after a Chevrolet passenger vehicle traveling west lost directional control and ran off the roadway, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The seven occupants were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Hamilton Man Fatally Stabbed In Trenton: Police A 48-year-old Hamilton man was fatally stabbed in Trenton on the evening of Wednesday, May 14, authorities said. At 7:05 p.m., Jermaine Scott arrived at the Capital Health Regional Medical Center with a stab wound to the abdomen, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said. NJ Massage Parlor Raid: Tesla Seized, $600K Found Stuffed In Teddy Bear, Cops Say A raid of an illicit massage parlor turned up $600,000 of cash inside a giant stuffed teddy bear in Edison, authorities announced this week. Five people were arrested following a more than yearlong investigation into Bliss Spa, a massage parlor at 2595 Woodbridge Ave., Edison police said. NJ Man Killed In Mobile Home Fire: Avenel FD A 65-year-old man was killed in a fire at his Avenel mobile home early morning Wednesday, May 14, authorities said. At 4:20 a.m., firefighters responded to Hiram Homes near South Inman Avenue and North Second Street after receiving a report of a fire, Cory Spillar with the Avenel Fire Department said. Money Snatched From Donation Box At Rutgers Museum: Police Thieves pilfered money from a donation box at a museum in Rutgers University on Tuesday, May 13, authorities said. The theft occurred between 8:24 p.m. and 8:42 p.m. at the Zimmerli Art Museum at 71 Hamilton St. in New Brunswick, Rutgers University Police said. Hamilton Fire Captain's Sudden Death Shocks Community Brian Pfeiffer, a captain with the Hamilton Township Fire Department, died recently, the fire department announced. Pfeiffer's passing was "sudden." The fire department did not say when or how he died and an obituary has not been released.
