Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Aaron Donovan, a Metro-North spokesman, said there was an unresponsive customer in the bathroom of the Stamford-bound local train that departed Grand Central Station at 2:37 p.m.  MTA police were notified and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded, Donovan said.  The train was delayed about 20 minutes. Police In Greenburgh Investigate Suspicious Grenade GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A store owner reported finding what he believed to be a live hand grenade about noon on Wednesday, police said. The report prompted parts of Route 119 to be closed at police and firefighters responded to 247 Tarrytown Road. The Westchester Bomb Squad also responded.
