Two Winning Lottery Tickets Worth $200K, $10K Sold At New Milford ShopRite Day Apart
A Bergen County ShopRite sold two winning lottery tickets on back-to-back days, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, a Mega Hot 7’s ticket worth $10,000 was sold at ShopRite #141, 250 River Road, New Milford, according to lottery officials.
The following day, Wednesday, Aug. 13, the same store sold a Cash 4-Ever ticket worth $200,000, officials said.
Both tickets were instant-win scratch-offs, and lottery officials said prizes should be claimed through the New Jersey Lottery.

A Costa Rican painter who fell two stories from a Ridgewood roof has died, authorities confirmed (Haga clic aquí para leer la versión en español).
Ridgewood police said they responded to 152 Kenilworth Road on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 1:45 p.m. for a report of an adult male who had fallen. The victim’s brother, Carlos Solis, identified him to Daily Voice as Heriberto Solís Fallas, 40, of Irvington.

Trio Wanted In Millville Murder: Prosecutor
Three men have been charged and are at large in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old in Millville, authorities said.
On Friday, Aug. 15, at approximately 6:53 p.m., Millville police responded to the area of High and Oak Streets for a report of a male with a gunshot wound to the head, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. The victim, identified as Thomas Smith III was transported to a nearby hospital but was soon pronounced dead, Webb-McRae said.
