Drug Trafficker Sought In Lehigh Valley Found With Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Illegal Gun: Police
A known drug trafficker wanted in the Lehigh Valley area was found with fentanyl, crack cocaine, and an illegal gun, authorities said.
Esau Thomas was stopped in the 200 block of Broadway in Bethlehem during a concentrated enforcement effort on Thursday, Nov. 3, local police said.
Thomas was found with marijuana, leading to the execution of a search warrant at his home on the 500 block of Atlantic Street, where police allegedly found an additional half-pound, as well as fentanyl pills, crack cocaine, and a firearm that wasn’t his.
Thomas was charged accordingly, police said.

Funeral services have been set for Scotty Andrew Bernard, the Bethlehem motorcyclist and loving father who was struck and killed by a drunk driver on Sunday, Oct. 30 at the age of 35.
Scotty, formerly of Tobyhanna, was hit at the intersection of Rt. 378 and the entrance to Saucon Valley Square in Lower Saucon Township around 9:50 p.m., authorities said.
The driver, Jacob Mark Conklin, 35, of Salisbury Township, was charged with a second-degree felony count of accidents involving death or personal injury, as well as misdemeanor DUI, according to a report from LehighValleyLive.

An iconic restaurant chain has officially been sold after more than four delicious decades of dishing up burgers and dogs along the Jersey Shore.
WindMill Hot Dogs made the announcement on their Facebook page on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
“Though bittersweet, as a family, we have made the difficult decision to sell The WindMill restaurants,” reads the post.
With locations in West Long Branch, North Long Branch, Red Bank, Belmar, and Asbury Park, WindMill’s menu is chock full of specialty burgers, dogs, fries, wings, fish fries, chicken fingers, and more.
