Support Surges For Family After Unexpected Death Of Beloved Jersey Shore Mom Of 5 At 42
Support is on the rise for the heartbroken family of Damiana “Jero” Jeronima Perez Soto, a beloved Jersey Shore mother of five who died unexpectedly after battling liver disease on Monday, Aug. 22 at the age of 42.
A native of Seaside Heights, Damiana was a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, her obituary says.
She held her family incredibly close to her heart, especially her children, Norma, Neida, Teresa, Gustavo and Olivia; and her husband, Margarito.
Described as the life of the party, Damiana was endlessly generous and supportive of her community, her memorial says.

3 Charged After More Than A Pound Of Meth Found In Mercer County Bust, Prosecutor Says
Three people were charged after more than a pound of methamphetamine was found in a drug bust in Mercer County, authorities announced.
Officers conducting a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of McGowan Avenue in Hamilton found 455 grams of methamphetamine — 1.0031 pounds — as well as several scales and $1,063 in cash on Tuesday, Sept. 13, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Meanwhile, a resident of the home, Robert, Margeson, 51, was charged with a first-degree narcotics offense, and a motion has been filed to detain him pending trial.

Volunteer Lehigh Valley firefighter and devoted father Eric C. Gubich died at his home in Bethlehem on Wednesday, Sept. 14. He was 36.
A graduate of East Stroudsburg University, Eric worked at Samuel Adams Brewery, his obituary says.
Eric was also a social member of the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company, according to his memorial.
Eric loved spending his free time hunting, snowboarding, dirt biking, and in nature. He was also a big fan of the Eagles and Phillies.

South Jersey high school graduate, talented pianist, and devoted father Steven Dennis Scalzi died suddenly in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, Aug. 13. He was 22.
Born at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township, Steven attended Chestnut Assembly of God and more recently Victory Assembly of God in Pittsgrove, his obituary says.
Steven was known for his endlessly curious mind, his caring heart, and his talent for music, especially playing the piano.
Above all, Steven is remembered for embracing his role as a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Luna Alice Rae Scalzi.
