Greeley Assistant Principal Takes Fight Of Two-Year Suspension To Court CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Michael Taylor's fight with the Chappaqua Central School District continues. Taylor, an assistant principal at Horace Greeley High School, has filed a lawsuit in Westchester County Supreme Court after the district suspended him for two years without pay. Taylor had previously sued the district last year, citing racial bias. Taylor is the district's only black administrator. Westchester Sees Rise In Co-Op, Multi-Family Home Sales Co-ops and multi-family home sales are on the rise, while single-family home sales are on the decline in Westchester over the past year, according to a second-quarter report from Westchester Real Estate Inc. Overall sales increased 1.26 percent from the second quarter last year. The increase in co-ops and muti-family home sales helped offset a 10.9 percent decrease in single-family homes and 5.6 percent decrease in condo sales.  The price of a median single-family home increased three percent from last year, while inventory decreased 15 percent. Algonquin Pipeline Company Sues Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Spectra, which is behind the proposed Algonquin pipeline, is suing the Town of Yorktown to obtain four acres of town-owned property for an easement.  The lawsuit was filed in federal court Thursday.
