A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Judge Dismisses Daryl's House Lawsuit Against Town Of Pawling PAWLING, N.Y. -- The lawsuit filed by Daryl's House, the music club and restaurant on Route 22 in Pawling owned by rock star Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates fame, against the town has been dismissed. Judge Victor Grossman dismissed the suit, which was filed in New York State Supreme Court in Dutchess County, and said the town was harassing the club as it tried to establish a backyard concert series. The seat is currently held by Democrat Catherine Borgia.  Outhouse served for 23 years as a county police officer and 38 years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Cortlandt and Croton. Joseph L. DaRonco, 77, Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Joseph DaRonco, Sr. died Friday at the age of 77. DaRonco was born in 1939 in Mt. Vernon to Lee and Kathryn DaRonco. He graduated Yorktown High School in 1956 and later worked at General Foods in White Plains for 33 years. He also met Dianne, his wife, at General Foods.  DaRonco battled an illness for 25 long years with Dianne by his side daily. Security Training Exercises Planned For Indian Point BUCHANAN, N.Y. -- A security training will be held at Indian Point Energy Center on Thursday. The training drills will involve simulated attack scenarios intended to be as realistic as possible, Entergy, which runs Indian Point, said.
