A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Coyote Alert Issued In Pleasantville PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Village of Pleasantville is asking residents to remain on alert after a coyote was spotted near Romer Avenue and Ashland Avenue. Residents should not feed coyotes, not feed pets outside and make garbage inaccessible to coyotes and other animals, the village said.  Residents should also eliminate the availability of birdseed, which an attract coyotes, the village said. Pets should not be allowed to run free and anyone who sees a coyote should be aggressive in their behavior, the village said. For more information, click here.

Lopez, assistant varsity baseball coach for the Katonah-based Harvey School, was invited back by his former team for the retiring of his No. 19 jersey. Yorktown Student Overcomes Cancer, Gets College Degree YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Yorktown Heights student who battled cancer recently received her college diploma.Diana Pernicano was one of 618 students who received their diplomas at the Mount Saint Mary College Commencement in Newburgh on Saturday almost four years after she was diagnosed with cancer. Motorist Flees Scene After Hitting Woman In Jefferson Valley, Police Say YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Jefferson Valley man was arrested and charged Monday afternoon after Yorktown police say he hit a pedestrian at 3651 Lee Blvd. and then intentionally left the scene. Mohammad Almuher, 39, was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Auto Accident, a Class A Misdemeanor. Police said the victim sustained a physical injury and that Almuher intentionally fled following the accident.
