At 4:25 a.m., Newark police responded to the 300 block of Grove Street and found Campbell outside the location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. 78 Years For Plainfield Pair Convicted In Shooting That Left 1 Paralyzed, 1 Dead: Prosecutor Two Plainfield men were sentenced to 78 years in state prison on Friday, Jan. 12 after being convicted of first degree murder for killing a woman and paralyzing another in a 2021 double shooting, authorities said.
