Jersey City Corner Store Employee Sexually Assaulted Teen Customer, Prosecutor Says A 21-year-old Jersey City man was arrested for sexually assaulting a teen girl, authorities said. Amaury Deleon Cabrera met the 15-year-old girl when she came by the Bergen-Lafayette shop where he worked, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The two then went to Berry Lane Park on multiple occasions where the assaults occurred, Suarez said. Deleon Cabrera was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3. US Marshals Nab Accused Gunman In Trenton Homicide A 36-year-old man was arrested by members of the US Marshals in connection with a deadly Trenton shooting, authorities announced. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office filed a motion to detain Matthew Tanner, 36, pending trial, Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Tanner is accused of shooting Daquan Basnight on the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue around 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 1, Onofri said. DA: Man Who Stabbed Mom Shot Dead By Police In Plymouth Township A 22-year-old man was shot dead by police after stabbing his mom multiple times and then pointing a handgun at responding officers Tuesday night in Plymouth Township, authorities said. Philadelphia Driver Drags Victim 100 Feet With Car During Argument In Bucks, Police Say A Philadelphia man dragged a 45-year-old Bucks County resident with his car more than 100 feet across a parking lot during an argument earlier this week, authorities said. William Connolly, 44, was arguing with the Quakertown man around 5:05 p.m. in the Plumstead Shopping Center on Easton Road on Aug. 2, local police said.
