Tragedy: Man Found Unresponsive In Pool Pronounced Dead In Central PA A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. The unidentified man was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m., Gay said. An autopsy at Lehigh Valley Hospital is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 4.

'Screaming Followed By Gunshots' Heard In Murder Of Trenton Woman Killed By BF: Police Prosecutors have released harrowing details in the murder of a 32-year-old Trenton woman who police say was killed by her 29-year-old boyfriend. Ernest Melo, of Centreville, met with the victim — a stranger — at a restaurant just outside of Fairfax County Wednesday night, June 28, the Fairfax County Police Department said. Upper Allen Police were performing a welfare check on residents in the 800 block of Grantham Road when they found the two bodies around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1, they said. $1.5M Grant Will Transform Abandoned Railroad Into Hiking, Biking Trail In North Jersey A long-abandoned railroad track that runs through Union County will soon be transformed into a hiking and biking trail, thanks to a $1.5 federal grant. Rahway Valley Railroad tracks that run through Roselle Park and Kenilwroth are slated to become multi-use tracks designed for pedestrians and bicyclists, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.
