23-Year-Old Airlifted After Driver Sends Car Into Oncoming Traffic On I-78: Police
A 23-year-old woman was flown to the hospital in a crash on Interstate 78 Sunday, June 25, New Jersey State Police said. An Acura Integra driven by a 23-year-old Manville man ran off the highway to the left and crossed the center median, entering the westbound lanes around 9 a.m. near milepost 22.7, in Clinton Township, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. The Acura was struck by a westbound Hyundai. The 23-year-old Acura driver was seriously injured, as was his passenger, a Middlesex woman, who was flown to the hospital. The Hyundai's passengers suffered moderate injuries.

Body Found In Morristown
A body was found Sunday morning, June 25 in Morristown, authorities said. The discovery was made around 9 a.m. near 51 Washington St., initial and developing reports said. The address is listed online as the Our Place Day Shelter, which is run out of First Baptist Church. The incident was under investigation.

NJ Firefighter Brian Letrent Dies Suddenly, 34
The Bayville Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of their own. Brian Letrent died suddenly of a medical condition on Wednesday, June 21, according to his obituary. He was 34 years old. A Toms River native, Brian was raised in Bayville and was a 2007 graduate of Central Regional High School. He enlisted in the US Army right after graduation and was deployed to Iraq for six months. Woman Dies In South Jersey Crash
A 36-year-old woman died early Saturday, June 24 in a South Jersey crash. Ada M. Roman was a passenger in a Honda Civic heading south on Route 54 when it was struck by a Lexus L46 at the intersection of Route 40 around 1 a.m. in Buena Vista, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. The driver of the Honda, a 41-year-old man, of Vineland, suffered serious injuries and the driver of the other vehicle, a 62-year-old man fro Delaware, suffered moderate injuries. The crash remains under investigtion.

Adult Diaper Dumper Sought By Police In South Jersey Town
Authorities in one South Jersey town are seeking whoever is responsible for dumping trash bags full of adult diapers and urine pads around town. Body Of Pal. Park Climber Killed In Avalanche Recovered
The body of a 66-year-old Bergen County man killed by an avalanche last February has been recovered, officials in Washington State said. Yun Park, of Palisades Park, was among three hikers attempting to climb Colchuck Peak on Feb. 19, 2023, Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said. A hiker found Park's body the afternoon of June 23, near the base of Colchuck Peak. Authorities in a Union County town are on the hunt for a shooting suspect who left one victim wounded.
