Murder: Serial Robbers Charged In Fatal Newark Shooting After Police Pursuit Two serial robbers from Irvington have been charged with murder in connection with a Newark shooting after a police pursuit, authorities announced. Both Deontee Jones, 24, and Earl Betterson, 33, have been arrested in the shooting death of Romulo Luzuriaga on Thursday, May 11, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. VCU Student Killed By Car, 26, Was Facing Bright Future In Politics A Virginia Commonwealth University student who made history as one of the youngest interns in one governor's administration was fatally struck by a car earlier this month at 26 years old.
