Pair Leading Wild I-395 Pursuit Try Swimming Across Roaches Run After Crash With Troopers Two people who sprung out of a vehicle and tried swimming across Roaches Run were in custody after leading Virginia State Troopers on a wild pursuit along Interstate 395, State Police said. The incident began just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, when a Virginia State Police trooper tried stopping a vehicle displaying improper registration, VA State Police said. Major Crash Closes All Lanes On I-476 Major delays were reported due to a crash on I-476 in Lehigh County early Wednesday, April 19. Thirteen people were injured in the Lower Macungie crash that involved a passenger van carrying 10 people, an SUV, two tractor trailers, and several other vehicles, according to 6abc. Female Body Pulled From Passaic River: Police A female's body was recovered from the Passaic River in Newark on Tuesday, April 18, authorities said. Authorities were called to the scene on Clay Street around 4:20 p.m., where firefighters launched two Zodiac boats to complete the recovery effort, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. EMS responded and the victim, who remains unidentified, was pronounced at 6:38 p.m. The incident remains under investigation.

Manhunt On For Dodge Ram Thief In Northern VA The search is on for a man who police say stole a Dodge Ram in northern Virginia. Orian Dean Constantine stole the 2022 pickup with VA license plate TUK-4509, on March 13, authorities in Fredericksburg said. He is approximately 6'3" and has weapons in his possession. Through our investigation, we've determined he has ties to Maryland and Pennsylvania. Lidl Weeks Away From Opening Latest Northern VA Store Lidl has an opening date for its latest northern Virginia store. The German, budget grocer will be coming to Chantilly Crossing Lane in Chantilly on Wednesday, May 3, will receive gift cards worth up to $100. A raffle for a $500 gift card will also be held. Unruly 7-Eleven Patron Foils Her Own Plan, Police In Northern VA Say An unruly 7-eleven patron's plan to spit on Stafford County Sheriff's deputies was foiled by, well, herself, police say. Asia Wheeless, 30, of North Carolina, first smashed an employee's phone at the 25 Solomon Dr. convenience store in Fredericksburg on Saturday, April 15, the county sheriff's office said. Responding deputies found her after trying to get a sandwich at Arby's police said. Wheeless was cursing and yelling at deputies, and was ultimately placed in handcuffs.
