Police Release Footage Of Bloomfield's Temple Ner Tamid Firebomber
Police have released surveillance footage of the man who threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of a North Jersey synagogue Sunday, Jan. 29. Footage from Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield shows a white male lighting the cocktail and throwing it at the front door around 3:20 a.m., local police said. The glass bottle broke but did not cause any damage to the Temple. The suspect then fled down the driveway. Bloomfield Detectives along with Essex County Prosecutors Office, FBI and A.T.F were notified of the incident. A joint investigation is active and ongoing. If anyone has any information…

Former University of Pennsylvania basketball player Cameron Gunter died on Thursday, Jan. 19, the team announced on Twitter. He was 31 years old. Cameron graduated from Ridley High School (Class of 2014), and went on to play for the Penn basketball team while earning his degree in communications and commerce. Arrest Made In Shooting That Killed One Teen, Injured Another
A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder and related offenses in a shooting that left a 17-year-old boy dead and a 17-year-old girl wounded in Bridgeton, authorities said. Iban Perez faces charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and aggravated assault in the shootings on the 300 block of North Pearl Street, sometime around 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. A man facing eviction had his cousin drive him to rob a Santander Bank in Palmer Township — which happened as another Santander Bank across town was also robbed, according to police and news reports. It was not immediately clear if the incidents on Thursday, Jan. 26 were related. Cleon H. A 37-year-old school bus driver from Newark has been charged after plowing his bus into a West Caldwell home on Friday, Jan. 27, police said. Anthony R. A Harrisburg man wanted for the rape of a 10-year-old child was arrested Friday, Jan. 27, authorities in Cumberland County said. Roscoe N. Roy, Jr. is facing charges of rape, aggravated indecent assault and strangulation, authorities in Lower Allen Township Police Department said.
