Train Kills Pedestrian In Somerset County
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Somerset County, officials confirmed. The crash involving Gladstone Branch Train 440 occurred just before 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 in Far Hills, NJ Transit officials said. No injuries to the three customers or crew members were reported. The train was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 12:22 p.m. Gladstone Branch was temporarily suspended between Bernardsville and Gladstone but has since resumed. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

NJ Man Charged With Murder After Reportedly Saying Woman Died During Rough Sex
A man has been charged with murder in the death of a 39-year-old woman whom he said died of rough sex before he panicked and burned her body, according to the Trentonian and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. Harley Wildmann, 42, was arrested after Ewing resident Lisa Lloyd's severely burned body was found in a Clover Avenue cemetery in Hamilton Township at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Police ID Victim Killed In Bayonne As 23-Year-Old NY Man
Police have identified the victim killed in a Bayonne shooting early Wednesday, July 27 as a New York man. Damoi Davauni Campbell, 23, was killed near 21st Street and Avenue A around 4:30 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. More than 400 over-the-counter health products such as toothpaste, deodorant and pain relievers have been recalled from Family Dollar stores over improper storage, the FDA announced. A 55-year-old woman from Somerset County stole more than $75,000 from a nonprofit organization she was the financial officer of over a two-year period, authorities said. Jolee Roberts, of Bridgewater, cashed numerous checks and used credit cards issued to the non-profit for unauthorized purchases totaling thousands of dollars, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. A middle-aged man was caught masturbating in a Montclair park, authorities said. A woman told police she saw the man sitting on a bench in Nishuane Park with his pants down to his knees playing with himself around 1 p.m. on Friday, July 22, Police Lt. Terence Turner said.
