Man Arrested For 31 Graffiti Incidents Across Morris County Town: Police
A 20-year-old man was charged in 31 graffiti incidents over the last four months across Morris County, authorities said. Shjon Peterson defaced multiple properties in Jefferson, including the marquee sign in front of the high school, parts of the Abenaki Trail, and more, Jefferson Township police said. The investigation into the incidents began on Dec. 8, 2021 on the trail, when police thought that incident was isolated. Peterson was slapped with 31 counts of criminal mischief and released on a court summons.

High School Sweetheart Survives DPW Worker Killed In Weekend NJ Crash
A 37-year-old dad and longtime Egg Harbor Township Department of Public Works employee died in a weekend crash. Jose Costa was heading east on Ocean Heights Avenue when he lost control, veered off the road and struck a pole around 12:40 a.m. in Egg Harbor Township Saturday, April 2, local police said. The Scullville and Bargaintown Fire Companies responded and extricated Costa, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Family Of Girl Killed While Riding Bike In Bridgewater Sees Support
Support is surging for the family of an 11-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a 22-year-old woman in a pickup truck while biking with a friend in Bridgewater. Victoria Bastos was struck near 3rd Street on Fulton Street around 6:10 p.m. Saturday, April 2, according to local police and a GoFundMe launched for the girl's family. Cause Of Crash That Killed Motorcyclist Released By Anne Arundel PD
A 46-year-old motorcyclist from Glen Burnie died in a Pasadena crash on Saturday, April 2. Donterio Montre Brown was merging into the right lane on Route 100 east on his Kawasaki Ninja while a Nissan Altima driver was merging into the left lane from the right lane around 12:45 p.m., Anne Arundel County police said.
